Have any other good HD Recovery software u know ?
Dear all:
I want to find recovery system software,that can work
like "recover card" or "restore card".follow function
that I need :
1.for win98.
2.can recover system when boot every time.
3.recover speed must be faster.
4.sample if I format disk c: or other dirver --> when
reboot system can restore soon.
now I just know those recovery software:
1. Recovery Genius 21st

need data backup option.
well my plan is to manage many pc.
like school's pc studio or gamebar.

Have you looked at making a Ghost image?
Yes, slink9 has a good idea. If your computers are connected in LAN you can make one Ghost image (www.symantec.com) on a server an a bootable diskette with LAN drivers to connect to server and restore the image to partition or disk if needed.

for install pc that is good idea , I have test
this function to ghost 50 computers at the sametime.
but that is not bang on my case. because speed is too slow , and symantec have product like recover card ... but now is not good for use.

My base XP ghost image fits on one CD-R. Restores in like ~7 minutes

You are not going to get anything better or faster than a recovery card. So basically this, if ghost is too slow for you (which is the fastes in my opinion for software of it's type or any type), then get another recovery card. Or deal with the speed. Sorry but there just isnt anything else out there. All the other items listed are basically slower than Growing grass.

Installing Go Back, on each machine would allow each machine to be restored independently from all the others and from the very beginning of the boot cycle, the paid version allows many dates and times so as to be able to find the proper restore point. It's not that slow after it's initial boot and the safety it provides is great, not trying to promote "Roxio Products" but am trying to promote great products used by experience! AL

I think that we have some good answers here. The questioneer doesnt like it because it is not as fast as a recovery card. And I suggested to get a new recovery card then if the speed is a necessity. Otherwise the softwares listed is sufficient and answers his question.
