Hello!

I am trying to create a transparent button with white text that will show up on top of the transparent area.  All I can get is the transparent area that covers up the text.  What I am doing is Exporting Transparent Image with my area for transparency selected but then when it flattens the image the text disappears too.  Any solutions?

Thanks in advance,
Jennifer

Youve confused me. If the button is transparent, how do we know its a button? Why not just make white text and forget the parts we cant see? If the text is white and the background is transparent youll be using a web background of a non-white color? Youre exporting as a Gif? Youre leaving your transparent area transparent in the original photoshop layers right?

Well the button is embossed and the outter area has a dark color but the inner color is transparent.

Ok, so design the button the way you want it to look in PS, with transparency etc, then Save For Web as Gif and preserve transparency.
