BIg Problem in NETSCAPE

I have a Flash FIle that is a pop with which opens with a Query String EG:  popup.html?obj=1

 this is the popup got when i click on somebutton.
IN the flash file, I have different OBJ's , seeing the ? String the flash file goes to a particular OBJ, This works fine in IE.

 See the code,

s = unescape(_url);
ueURL = s.substr(s.indexOf("?")+1, s.length);

 here s = the URL and ueURL is obj=1 according to my example.

 When i run this file in IE I get a value of obj=1

But in NETSCAPE the value of ueURL = www.mysite.com/myfile.swf

 what is the code for NETSCAPE to understand this.

Thanks in ADVANCE
