I installed morrowind and when i tried to play it i got really slow and even when i put my resoulution on the lowest setting it was stil slow. I downloaded the latest drives and it still was slow. I have 356mb ram and a 32MB video card you'd think that would be enough. so if anybody can offer any assistance i would greatly appreate it.

It has to be run on 32bit colour and is VERY graphically intensive. I find a 32mb graphic card is a bit slow for Morrowind. I have the same problem. :)

What processor do you have? Morrowind runs just about OK on my system (1.2GHz Athlon, 512Mb RAM, 128Mb GeForce4 Ti4400), but even then I get irritating load delays every so often while walking around--the game can freeze for several seconds while it loads the next "cell".

I suspect the problem is going to be your graphics card. An ATI All-In-Wonder 128 is very old technology these days, and it probably can't throw enough polygons around the place to run well with a game with graphics as complex as Morrowind. Is there any way you can upgrade it?

You need to install the "NO-CD" crack which stops the game from paging the CD continuously. You can get it from lots of "dodgy download sites"
It speeded up my game significantly and appears to be the best solution for general game speed imprpvement on the Morrowind forum site.

Good luck matey + persevere it is an amazing game!!
