Cheers! Keep us informed of how you're getting on. I was beginning to move towards the notion of caching the model of the data and then remodelling the data when a new value arrived.

That's one of the nasy things; now, new data arrives once or twice a day, i.e. all individual measured data is batched. They're planning for a more fine grained granulaty for reasons which are beyond me. I need to have some 'frond end' processing ('re-batching' the stuff again) to get reasonable performance out of this.
