Sir,

I am working on a mailing system using Java Servlets,
At the time of sending attachment I want to scan the attached file whether the file contains virus or not.

Platform : Novell Netware
Installed Virus Scanning program : MaCafee

Is there any way to scan the file by MaCafee in Java?
If yes, Kindly send me the code.
Thanx

U r having Mc.afee....and i think u will be using jsp smart upload for sending attachement.

in that...what u have to do....in smart upload while saving the file fire a runtime.exec(mcafee) and scan the document...and if it returns any virus ....dont allow him to save...

for this u have to go thro thr mc.afee api.....

Good Luck
