outlook 2000 quits

Outlook 2K closes after running for a few minutes - no error messages on screen or in the Event Log. It had been working perfectly for over a year.
I have Win2k (5.00.2195) SP2, Outlook 2000 SR-1 (9.0.0.5414).
What is going on and how can I fix it?
Thanks.

I ran Repair and it seemed to work but it did give an error message about the Tahoma font. I clicked OK and it completed with a "successful" message. This did not fix the problem. After posting, I noticed that it's just the GUI that goes away, outlook.exe is still running in Task Manager. Since then I have started Outlook with the /safe parameter and it doesn't close anymore but I can't use Preview Pane and some other things.

Only applying the "repair" to Outlook fixes part of the problem...also reapply the latest OS service pack.  This should take care of the other errors (fonts, etc.)
