new mail notification

Hi,
Iam Writing a application that will notify the user when ever a new mail arrives to my outlook with a specific subject. and it has to open the outlook newpost to send a mail.
can some one please help me out.
i am very much concerned with the new mail notification.
i had a look at the IMAPIAdviseSink's OnNotify but wasn't clear how to use it.
and that my application must run in background so as to notify when ever a new mail arrives.

You should be able to use Automation and make a plugin to Outlook, when you use automation you can setup events so you will get an event as soon as a new item is added to a specified folder, such as a new mail to the inbox.
