There are couple of Internet Directory Controls in Novell Controls for
ActiveX ,
you can use,

     Novell Internet Directory Entries Control
     Novell Internet Directory Query Control

You can download the same @ http://developer.novell.com/ndk/ocx.htm

Example Sample Code written Visual Basic:

Private Sub Connect_Click()
Dim Query As Object
Dim Results As NWQueryResults
Dim Result As NWQueryResult
On Error GoTo eh:
Set Query = CreateObject("NWIDirQueryLib.NWIDirQuery.1")
Query.FullName = "ldap:\\servername\o=OrgName"
MsgBox Query.FullName

With Query
    .UserName = "ldap:\\servername\o=OrgName\cn=admin"
    .Password = "Admin Password"
    .Connect
     MsgBox "Connected"

    Query.Fields = "cn,telephoneNumber"

    Set Results = Query.Search()
    MsgBox Results.Count

    Set Result = Results.Item(2)
    phNos = Result.FieldValue("telephoneNumber")
    For i = LBound(phNos) To UBound(phNos)
          MsgBox phNos(i)
    Next

Set Result = Nothing
Set Results = Nothing
End With

Exit Sub
eh:
    MsgBox Err.Description
    Resume Next
End Sub

Hope this helps a bit.
