hi,

i have 2 questions here:

1) how to write a program to export a table (structure and data) from mssql to foxpro?

2.) a program to export only data in a table (a) from mssql to another table (b) in foxpro?

Which version of MSSQL are you using? If SQL 7.0 or higher then you should look first at the DTS package process. This will allow you to create a predefined package that can take the structure and data (optionally perform modification on the data on the fly as it is being exported) and save it in another database type such as foxpro. The beauty of SQL 2000 is that you can save this package as VB code, modify it to your heart's desire and compile it to be run as and when you like.

Then definitely use DTS, create the package specifying the source and destination tables and formats, then save it as a VB project. You can then play with this project and customize it into a re-usable application.
