In Exchange Server 2000 SP2, can the Connector for POP3 Mailboxes' scheduler be set go retireves email every 5 mins ? For some reason, it only allows me to retrieve every 15 mins or longer.

Is it even possible to Set POP3 E-mail Delivery Frequency in Exchange Server 2000 SP2 less than 15 mins ?

Thank you.

Isnt there any way to decrease that interval ?
Is there any reason why the interval is set to be 15 mins ?

No, the shortest allowable time frame for pop3 downloads using that connector is 15 minutes. You can increase, but you cannot decrease. If you use a broadband modem and implement on demand dialing, then you can do it as often as you want. If you have a static connection, then you can schedule, but that is the shortest time frame allowable.

It is by design.....

I know that is not what you want to hear, but that is the answer.

Sigh ... was hoping there is a way that I can manually change or at least an alternative way to work around. But anyway, thank you.
