When I create new archive for my program, after specifying the archive's name and location, an error of member or data not found appears and VB indicate the following line of code:

Item.SubItems(3) = rightjust(comp.Ratio((i)), "##0.00%")

Note the rightjust coding is as follows:

Function rightjust(var As Variant, just As Variant) As String

    Dim frmt As Integer

    frmt = Len(just)
    rightjust = right(Space(frmt) & Format(var, just), frmt)
End Function

Can this problem be avoided or solved because creating new archive does not have anything inside after I place a file to compress.

I hope to receive reply ASAP. Thanks

I think it may be the "Item" variable. "Item" is a property of several VB entities. Try changing your declaration of "Item" to (say) "MyItem" and see how that goes.
