magarity--my problem turned out to be faulty media. i've never had that issue before (meaning: so many faulty media--one right after the other). i'm sorry that my question led you astray--it did for me, yoo :))<br />

every time i try to copy to my 3 1/2&quot; floppy drive i get a blue screen error message. the screen is entirely blue and says: &quot;Disk Write Error. Data May Be Lost&quot; Press any key to continue&quot;<br />
