I wrote a small VBA aplication in EXCEL using the MS date and time picker control "DTPicker_1.
Whe I run this programme on user machines then my it comes up with the error message "object not found" which is because aparently this control is not installed on this machines.
Now I figured out under
Toolbox  -  Additional controls - Available controls and selected Items only the path were my control is located.
C:windows\system\mscomct2.ocx and in addition ther were two further files with the extention *.dep  and *.srg. So I copied this files on the same location in the other machine but it still does not run. I not even found this control in Toolbox  -  Additional controls - Available controls

How can I retrieve this contol on another machine??

Hi themroc,

if you want to use and ocx or dll on another machine

-then copy (which you've done already)
-then register

-goto start
-then the run
-type regsvr32 <path to the ocx>\mscomct32.ocx
-then enter

maybe this ocx depends on others i don't know but this should give you a start
