Printing HP-GL/2 to a file with embedded text.

When printing to an HP plotter driver (any that we tried), and specifying print to file, the printer driver replaces true type fonts with stick draw characters.  Do you know of a printer driver that will output HP-GL/2 and include the text within the HP-GL/2 file rather than substituting line draws.

Thanks for making the effort.  You were the only one to respond.  

I wonder was this question better suited for another catagory?

I've downloaded a few new drivers and will give them a whirl.

probably nobody (including me) has access to a plotter :-)
