Autostart an offline site from a CD

How should the autostart.inf read to start the browser automatically?

I want to start index.htm that is placed in the root of the CD.

My autorun.inf (also placed in the root) reads like this:

[autorun]
OPEN=index.htm

However the index.htm is not starting, all I get is an error:

"E:\ is not a valid Win32 application"
(translated from the german erroir message)

I guess I'll need some sort of command line?
The best would be if the default browser (IE, NS or whatever) would start.

Hope someone can help me!
Greetings

I have had this same problem before.  The only way I could get it to work was for someone to write me a small application that opened the default browser with the page I want.  :-)  Seems kind of silly when you should be able to just write the web page like you say.

At least I got it right that you need an executable.  The benefit here being that you can download the executable you need from whirlywiryweb.  Or if you go for another option (found through whirlywiryweb) http://www.franken.de/users/lisa/horshack/winnt/autostart.html which also offers an execuatble for download.

Unless you feel like generously giving me the points I recommend visiting Community Support.  Ask them to refund you points and put this in the PAQ.  This is valuable information pretty much covered by whirlywiryweb's first statement: "Search for "+autorun +html" in Google Groups and you get SIXTEEN THOUSAND results."
