HI!

I just purchased a MSI KT3 Ultra-ARU motherboard, haven't fetched it from the post office yet, but i wonder if it is capable of meeting a AMD XP2200+ (Thouroughbred) processor without flashing its BIOS?

Hope U can help....

I have this exact board, and according to MSI's website at:
http://www.msicomputer.com/product/detail_spec/product_detail.asp?model=KT3_Ultra-ARU

it does support the XP 2200+

The latest BIOS is at:
http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/bios/bos/spt_bos_detail.php?UID=30&NAME=MS-6380E

Though it doesn't mention anything about support for the xp2200+

Yes but if it doesn't support the "thoroughbred" processor - i'm screwed when installing.....
I don't have an earlier AMD available, only Intel...
