Yes, you do need to be logged in the unit in order to reset back to Factory Default settings. &nbsp; I will try your advise and flash the Firmware.<br />

if you loose your password you need to call customer support for your Switch or Router. They will flash your firmware to default settings. I know, I had this happen &amp;&nbsp;what a pain.
