looking for motherboard driver

What happened was that my friend lost his drivers CD for the motherboard. Someone told me that there is a site where we can enter the number of the motherboad and then find out the make of the motherboard. Then fortunately we can later go to the web site of the make and download the drivers.

In other words, I want to know the web site where I can find out which manufacturer made this motherboard, so I can go to it's site and download the driver.

Can anybody give me that web site, or advise me the other way of finding this driver.

One way to identify the motherboard is from the BIOS string that appears at the boot screen. Copy this number and then see if it is listed here:
