Quick question. I have downloaded J2EE from Sun's Website.
I have a server that will need J2SDK and J2EE. Installed J2SDK no problem. I need to install J2EE now. I noticed no setup file. However there is a buildenv.bat Is this all I need to run? Or is there some other way to set this up?

what did you download?

usually the j2ee sdk is an executable.

I have never installed the j2ee sdk b/c all you really need to do is add the j2ee jar to your classpath or in your java lib.

To develop a j2ee app I have an environment setup using Resin (by Caucho) but you can use Tomcat or Orion or JRUN (any J2EE app server) for your needs.

I downloaded Java™ 2 SDK, Enterprise Edition. I can't seem to find a executable in this download. The download was a zip file of about 40 meg and expanded to 88 meg.
