How do I get the banner to scroll more smoothly. I have a 300 by 80 window and I am trying to scroll at 300 by 400 image but i jerks to much I want it to scroll very slowly but be perfectl smooth.

Use a very long timeline..say about 700 frames and make the frame rate about 25 frames per second..that's generally as fast as Flash can run on the average machine (especially if what you are scrolling is a bitmap..and if it is..break it apart..flash can manage it more easily)..so if you want to scroll faster..shorten the timeline..
