Filtering files by create date

Hi

This may be a silly question, but is there a way to filter files in a folder so that my app can operate on only the files with a particular create/edit date.

At the moment I have a loop that checks the timestamp of each file, but as the routine has to search hundreds of files each time I run it, I want a quicker way.

jdthedj,

Well, if you want some function that will filter this out for you, without iterating through all the files, I'm afraid there isn't such thing in Win world. You'll always have to go through all your files.
So, I don't think you'll find anything faster then FindFirst/FindNext and TSearchRec.Time to do the job.

That's what I was afraid of!
