Outbound mail failure from unknown recipients?

We recieve many outbound message failure from recipients that do not exist within our exchange organization.They are all usually being sent to yahhoo.com or aol.com.
Obviousley they are returned undeliverable because they do not exist.
Any ideas whats happening? Are we being used by external hackers?

In the internet mail service, select routing tab and select routing restrictions, check the host and clients that succesfully authenticate
