Registering an ATL Service

I developed an ATL service under windows2000 (VC6). Now that I want to run it under Windows NT it just doesn't want to get registered. The Proxy/Stub dll file registers properly on one system, but the service doesn't. On another system, after everything is setup, the functions in the service don't work when a client connects. I'm really out on a limb. I'm running the server and client(s) on the same machine to stay away from DCOM security settings... Please Help!

I've managed this problem. I compiled the service as a ReleaseMinDep, and it worked finally.. However, now there's a new problem. CoCreateInstance in the client fails, returning an error 0x80040154 - Class not registered. MSDN says it's due to atl.dll not being registered properly. But I feel there's something fishy about it! could anyone please help??
