how do i make a search engine? or is there some type of script online that i can use? i have about 900 or so products and id like it to work with my website..


is there a simple easy way to do this? im useing dreamweaver... ..

If you're working with a relatively small site, try Atomz Search (www.atomz.com). It's a free service for basic searching of sites under 100 pages, and I've used it very successfully on a number of clients' sites. You pay more for larger sites, or for extra options (ability to index PDFs, Word/Excel/PPT files, etc.; integration with database-driven sites; integration with password-protected extranets; etc.). Atomz is a very, very well-run organization with a great track record and a solid service.

I think the article I posted should have lead them in the right direction, and the article already specifically mentioned Atomz as a suggestion.
