Name to E-mail Addr Resolution

I recently upgraded to an Exchange e-mail system, and now, when I create a new e-mail message and type in a name in the TO line, it prompts me to select either the fax number or the e-mail address.  Id on't want to fax number as an option.  I want it to automatically resolve to the e-maila ddress ONLY.  How do I do this?

Outlook 2000
Exchange 2000 Server
Contacts folder is listed as "Contacts" in the Outlook Address Book

Are you using this as a fax server?  Probably not.  You need to move the fax number to Other - http://support.microsoft.com/search/preview.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q305361

yea, i read that, but i am not consifering this as a viable option at this time.  I am not using a fax server, and I have uninstalled MS Fax from the client machine.
Any other options?

Thanx

According to the article this function is by design and the only way to stop it is to remove the numbers from the fax field.

Additional info:  I recently upgraded to an Exchange 2000 environment.  This was NOT an issue prior to this upgrade.  The Outlook client has not changed, and thusly I know that it used to resolve to the e-mail address only.  I know MS says it's by design, but I'm not sure they're entirely accurate.

Thank you for looking into this.
