I would like to make a program that lets me connect to the paltalk servers and use most (if not all) of the functions they use. Anyone have any suggestions , links , components or source that might help in doing that ?

Yeah... Use Google and search for the paltalk protocol, if it's not a hidden one. However, I found http://www.paltalk.com/paltalk2/index.html and if this is what you're looking for then I think it won't be easy to write your own code to connect to these servers. They might not appreciate it...
My suggestion? Don't bother to connect.

I didn't really think there would be a problem with it. There are alot of ICQ and MSN clones out and nobody really has said anything so I just wanted to try my hand at writing a Paltalk clone.

Anyway the link you gave me was just to the paltalk site itself which did not help and a search on google did not produce any results and it looks like nobody else is going to comment on this so I guess I will just ask the mods to delete the question.

A request for deletion has been made.  If no response or you feel this is in error, comment.  If no objection, I will delete in three days.
