Can someone please tell me what I should be looking for (feature wise) in a flat screen TFT screen and also make a few personal recommendations.

My budget is about £280+tax but am happy to spend 20 or 30 pounds more if there is a significant difference in technology.

I might also consider a twin flat screen if there is such a thing so that you can mount both on to one frame?? I dont know if such a thing exists?

Thx

I would check the reviews on cnet.com and pcmag.com, pcworld.com.

That should give you the background info you need and reviews , in order to make a wise decision.

I hope this helps !

Be careful of PC mag reviews. They dont include everything in their review pools. For example, i didn't see anything from either SGI or Apple listed in their reviews and those two are generally accepted to make the best LCDs around. Both offerings from them run on PCs as well.

For £280 you're looking at the bottom end of the market in LCD monitors, so you really might not have much of a choice which one you get! I doubt you'll get better than a 1024x768 15" LCD for that price, at any rate.

CTX 15.1inch TFT CTX PV505 Beige £270 or in silver for £283.

I have installed a few of them, very good for the money and come with a 3 year swap out warranty.

CCL have been my suppliers for over 7 years can't recommend them highly enough.

Hope this helps.
