Hi,

What is the best way of stroking characters in Flash 5. There doesnt seem to be any stroke option in the Character Panel.

it is seperate panel in flash5

goto menu windows->panels->stroke

check this url also

Yes, but that options doesnt seem to work on characters. Only the fill tool seems to work, not the storke.

You need to break apart the text so that it is no longer a text object and then you can add strokes (or outlines) to the text.
