PST file recovery

Does the exchange server keep a copy of a users pst file even if the user has stored and deleted it from thier Hard Drive?  In other words, I'm looking for a possible backend copy if it exists within the exchange server?

No, when a user creates a PST file and specifies a location of the PST file to be local on their hard drive, Exchange does NOT keep a copy of the PST file on the server.....

You can download free software that will recover files that have been deleted from any workstation or server.

It has been a life saver before!!!!
If the file is too big, you might need to purchase, but man is it worth it!
depending on which operating system you have the pst file for win9x will be

c:\windows\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook\*.pst
c:\windows\application data\microsoft\outlook\*.pst

for win2000/xp

c:\documents and settings\[user]\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook\*.pst
c:\documents and settings\[user]\application data\microsoft\outlook\*.pst
