Hi everyone ,
When i try to start my program as a service .. I run this command : 'simon.exe -install' i get the message
"The service was installed sucessfully"

When i try to run my .exe i get an Error 75 (error in path)
* the program doesn't find my .ini on the network.

But if i start my program without -install ( NO SERVICE )
my program works well and it has found the .ini on the network and loaded it.
What am I doing wrong??

How do you have the service configured as ?
If you need access to the screen & keyboard, you must choose the LocalSystem account and click the "Allow Service to Interact with Desktop", otherwise choose any account and specify the correct logon password. Note that the LocalSystem account doesn't have network access.
A service can either have a GUI or network access not both.

My program supervises points on a PI server and Pops up an Alarm form on the users' screens when these points are under or over the set Limit . The program will be on 20 computers, and therefore need network AND GUI access.
Is there any way to run this prog in SERVICE ?!

Try having the service do the monitoring and start another executable that does the networking
