Windows XP tray msg

How do i send msg's trough the yellow little box in the corner ...

it's the litle yellow msg who appears when there is to low disk space or something like that.

Hope you can help me out!

I don't have a little yellow box in the corner (of my screen ?)

no, it's not there all the time, i forgot to write, it popups ... if you have your network connections down there they will popup if your network got disconnectet or connectet, the xpstyle needs to be on, not win2k style....you does still not know what i mean ?

ok - now I know what you're after - although on my XP machine, alerts are raised through different icons.

The network messages come through the network 'tray icon', and other alerts come through a 'warning' icon (the yellow triangle)

Unfortunately, I don't know how to pass messages to the yellow triangle - but I'm sure we can find a way... !

I'll go have a look !

Took a stroll through MSDN, and could only find ballon controls wrt Office XP

They must exist at OS level, so I'll keep looking, but if anyone else has some ideas...

i have my own tray icon at the watch, i would like if i could get some api or function that could parse a msg out to at yellow msg, from my own icon, if you understand ?
