The systemmailbox user object in AD has been deleted.  As such, the Mailbox Management Process has discovered this.  The mailbox still exists and has been tombstoned and will be deleted in 27 days (and counting..).

Does anyone know how to recover from this condition.

That is, if I create a new user object called systemmailbox what additional tasks other than reconnecting the mailbox be?

Cheers

Note:  The steps in 316622 are incomplete.  You must dismount the store before stopping ANY Exchange services. Otherwise, 316622 seems to solve all problems with the SystemMailbox user, especially if you applied/used 253784 which, I am sorry to say, bombed with me.  Leave the Systemmailbox alone unless you want to spend some hours fixing the mess that can easily be made of it....
