I am looking for a blog script written in php that has "ALL" of the following functions. If it does not have "ALL" of the functions then I will not be able to count it as a correct answer.

1. Uses flat files

2. Looks similar to the blog on this page

3. Has admin control panel that can
  A. Change the blogs colors and layout
  B. Change admin info (user/pass stuff)
  C. Ability to set timezone
  D. Date formatting options

4. Blog entry form that has
  A. A preview before post function
  B. Clickable ubb code (including smilies) like phpbb2 forums
  C. Edit/Delete entry function

5. Archive feature (Can either be by entries per page or date it does not matter)

Yep it's alot to ask for and chances are I will end up having to code it myself but it does not hurt to ask.

If I was to do that I might as well make my own and althoguh I know how I really don't have the time.

The pMachine program requires a MySQL database and one of the requirements is the script has to use flat files (i.e. requires no database)

If anyone wants to take a stab at making such a script I will double the points.

That sort of system is not a simple script. It is a complete system. Probably taking weeks to develop from scratch. Taking a working system and amending it would be easier than starting from scratch, but that would still take a LOT of time.

I would strongly recommend using a database. MySQL is free and there are plenty of web servers using it. If you are hosting your own server, then you can configure it exactly as you want.

Why you want to run away from MySQL ?

I mean any specific reasons ? The kinda system you describe will be best managed and utilised if you have mysql.

I do not have access to a sql database. I realize that sql would be faster and using tables would make adding/deleting/editing entries and settings alot easier  I just don't have access to one nor do I have the resources to pay for a host that does offer it.

I figured I would have to coded it myself from the start so that is what I will do. I will also make a mysql version and put it on sourceforge or something when I have the time.
