Is there anything else besides iTunes that I can use to play MP3's?  Anything better then iTunes? And another question. On my WinXP box...I'm able to play music thats on the server on my workstation. Why is it that I can't do that with iTunes? Why does iTunes first have to bring the song over from the servers hard drive to the MAC hard drive??? Isn't there a way to play the music directly from the server?

QuickTime will play MP3, so will Audion etc. You can get lots of players from www.versiontracker.com. And yes, you can play the files from a server but in your iTunes preferences you have "Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library" checked. Uncheck it.

I didnt' see that in the preferences Weed. I have iTunes 3...I will check later tonight. I tried MusicMatch for MAC and I wasn't impressed at all. I like it much better for Windows. I'll let you know whats up later. Thanks Weed!
