I want to make know if anybody have any ideas how to make a dance dance revolution pad which is a dancing pad for the playstation.

I am trying to recreate dance dance revolution, but the programing is going to be the easy part and you can't make a dancing game without dance pad.

If anyone knows anything about game pad making or knows where to buy a dance pad for the pc or any info on game hardware making.

hardware specs -
4 x 4 foot plastic pad
4 arrow directions (up, down, left, right) printed on the pad in a cross pattern each arrow pointing in its direction.

i know that was not a good description for those who don't know the game, so here:

bottom line:
i need to make a dancing pad for the computer with four arrows

thanks for any help!!!!!!!1

There are many 3rd party pads on the market.  The following link is for a metal one (top of the line):

http://shop.store.yahoo.com/a-sonic/dandanrevmet.html

Check the store there and you will find others that are cheaper.

The one listed above has a link for the PC as well.

Greetings!

Here are a few links to several sites that detail making home pads. It's not easy; I've been trying to make my own, but I suck at carpentry (Being a computer nerd...), but I absolutly love the game.

Here are 2 sites with information on how to build a home pad, and a link to ddrfreak.com
