Hi there,

If u restart the application server - this should stop.

dont worry abt the mails coming in ur mailbox - as they have been fired already ...

so after u stop the server - give urself some time & u'll see that the mails that r coming in ur mail box would stop after some time.

Once u stop the server - it cannot process ne-code & whatever was under process [stops then & there itself ... so relax a bit after stopping the application server.]

if still u feel - its not getting solved - remove ur file [that sends the mail ] from its location & then restart ... !!!

let me know !!!

Doesn't seem to have worked, I stopped the cf server, commented out the code, rebooted the machine, renamed the file, stopped the server again and I'm still getting hundreds of mails sent though as soon as I start the server again!!

Hi,

Give urself some time - the mails r already sent loooong time back - by ur code - now since the count of mails is very very high - they would keep pouring in ut mialbox fro next 1/2 hr or so ... but that dosent mean that as soon as u start the server - they get fired automatically.

this is just not possible.

so let all the mails drain themselves out ... into ut mailbox & the see ... things would be fine

Dont worry !!!
