Ok.  I have had it with this problem, it is giving me a headache.  I have a button on a form and when it is clicked (it is open as a uidoc at the time) I want it to update the "txtEstCompDate" field with a date that is 5 days ahead. So if that submit day in the 5/10/02, I want the EstCompDate to read 5/15/02.

Thanks in advance.

Dim EstCompDate As String
Call uidoc.FieldSetText("txtEstCompDate",EstCompDate+5)
