Compaq Deskpro 2000 Bios Setup

I have several old Compaq Deskpro 2000 PCs (Pentium 166-MMX to 233-MMX) and I need to be able to access and change the BIOS.  From what I understand, the Setup and Diagnostic for the BIOS is stored on a special hard drive partition.  All the hard drives have been reformatted.  How can I access the BIOS now?  I went on Compaq's website but the software mentioned SP4711.EXE and SP2579.EXE are to already upgrade the software that is already there on that special hard drive partition.  Where can I find the software to install from scratch to access the BIOS on these Compaq machines?  I tried creating the SETUP and DIAGNOSTIC disks from another Compaq PC whose hard drive was not reformatted but it did not work on any of the Compaqs I had.  Compaq has got to be awarded the most weirdest way of doing this.

You'll need to input the exact model number for the ROMPAQ that's correct for your system.

It's not really an upgrade, but the complete setup. Beware that you'll lose all data on your hard drive when using this, as the disk has to be re-partitioned to install the Compaq diagnostic partition.
