How To Adapt FlashJunkie's Vertical Scoll menu to read items from an external .txt

I want to use Flash Junkie's Vertical Scroll Menu (http://www.flashjunkie.50megs.com), but I need it to make a number of items and have names in the menu, depending on variables in an external .txt file.
I've looked into the script, but I'm not really an actionscript die-hard (understatement), and I have no idea how to change the code...
So, here's what I need it to do; I have a text file which says:
Variable 1;
Name=Link 1
URL=URL1
Variable 2;
Name=Link2
URL=URL2
etc. etc. this doesn't need to be the exact format of the txt file, it's just as an example. Now I need the menu to read these variables, and make it generate 2 menu-items (in this case), stating the 'Name' as a title, and 'URL' as the actual link when I click the item.

Please help me out... :(

In above example you need to pull all variables from text file using 'loadVariables' funaction.

loadVariables ("menu.txt", "", "POST");

there is tons of info ava. on net about how to load variables from text file.

Go to frame 2 of 'dragcontrol2' movie, replace 'gotoAndPlay' function with 'getURL' function and pass proper value.

Check this example for more help

I solved the problem...the reason the thing didn't work was simply because of a wrong format of my text file loading the data...I had linebreaks between the different values...yeah...real smart...
I simply replaced the script in frame one (which initialised the total menu items as well as the menu titles) with:
loadVariables("menu.txt", "_root");
which contains:
&tmi=8&Menu0=title1&Menu2=title2 etc.
