Security setting increases time it takes for PC to load up

Hi,

I have enabled the security setting which does not display the last logged on user on my Win2kPro PC. However, the PC know takes alot longer to logon to the desktop. Is there a way aound this?

have you downloaded TweakUI to remove that setting?
http://www.annoyances.org/downloads/ftp/tweakui.zip

if not try that and restore the previous attempt and see if this improves the speed before installing TweakUI.

if your system still is slow when you're starting that was not the problem.
