how to display date and time for the field on the web

hi,
i created one field on the form

type :date and time editable
sytle calender control

but when the date and time is not displaying on the web.i found in help date and time graphical control wont work on web.so what the solution

hi,
its working fine and i changed the save options to 1 and i save the form.after i saved the form(computed mode) still the calcconrol.gif is appearing.when i click on it now its giving javascript error.

Anyway i got the solution so here i am accepting ur comment.
if u have any idea suggest me.

The document should be in edit mode, so that you can set the field value. To hide the calendar button , hide paragraph when document is in read mode. In second line just display the date time, which will be hidden in edit mode.

hi,
for the field if i give
hide paragraph when the doucument is

opened for reading and printed. checked
now whats happeing is even i cannot the value of the datefield as well as the gif.

i want to hide only the gif when it is in read mode but i want to see the date selected when click on the gif.

can u suggest me.
