Hi,
I have just upgraded from XP to a windows 2000 machine(computerA) acting as a storage locker,in a workgroup environment. I have a shared folder(MyShare), and a shared printer on computerA. We are connected via router.

I want to have the other computers in our office log on and reconnect to the mapped drive ->ICCShare at startup. I created user names for our 6 employees on computerA. I can logon to computerA with any of the 6 usernames (as powerusers)and gain access to ICCShare, and when I first map a network drive things go perfect. When I restart computerB, it prompts for a password for the mapped drive.

I thought I could fix it by changing the username to 'computerA\DaffyDuck'. I wish it was a perfect world and I could have everyone just enter a password(i want a password if possible), but my boss wants it to happen automatically. It happened that way with XP. Please help, I hate XP and I know it is something simple I am screwing up. Thank you,
diek
