I was installing IE6.0 on a windows NT server 4.0 (SP6) that had an IE4.0 on it.

The installation could not be finished. After a reboot, it continued to install, but it stopped at 2% and it prompted that some components could not be installed and some applications should be ended for a re-installation of IE6.0.

I dont know which application or daemon should be ended. I had stopped anti-virus application first. And I could not uninstall IE4.0 either. (This IE4.0 was upgraded from IE3.0 that came with the installation of NT4.0.)

Anyone could tell me how could I install IE6.0 on it? How could I clean the registration items to begin a new installation. How could I uninstall IE4.0?
(This server was affected by NIMDA.)
