Hi,

Im trying to put win2k pro on both my systems the most powerful system acceps it fine but the second system which only has 32Mb of ram and a 133MHz proccessor won't let me boot it up from the cd and gives the error invalid system disk even though the bios is set to boot from cdrom

I can install Win ME on the slower system by installing ME on it in another computer and pulling the hard drive out when it says thankyou then reinstalling it in the slower system and at that point i can then install Win 2k but I dont want two operating systems on the slower system which is what I end up with.

If its just the limited RAM stopping the install can I do the same again and install Win2kpro on the fast machine then swap the drives over?

I've noticed that when Win 2K installs it doesn't give a Thankyou message it just continues untill its finished so if I were to try the same operation as with installing ME on the more powerful system first I would not know when to remove the drive before the setup recognises that system.

Please advise TIA
