Hello all,
I have a web site (let's call it www.mysite.com) and that's where I store all my html and asp pages.  I created a folder called AdminUpload, so now the path looks like this (http://www.mysite.com/AdminUpload/).  I created an Access97 database (test.mdb) and uploaded that database to the AdminUpload folder.  I went through a control panel that my host provides and made sure that the database file and the folder have all the rights.  And they do.

I'm trying to create a program in VB6 where I need to connect to that database on the server from my local machine using ADO, read data from it and do other stuff on my machine.  I was trying to wright the code, but I just can't seem to get it done.

Can someone please give me a full code on how to connect to my database on the server from my local computer, open a table and read records from it?  I've been playing with it for a whole day, but it just doesn't work.

I appreciate all your help.

Thanks
