I'm executing an Access Append (*1) Query from VB6, the query appends (*1) records to a PK field therefore errors are generated if duplicate entries occur.

If the query is run manually from Access then 2 confirmation dialogs appear, and if confirmed the query runs and only appends (*1) the table with new non-duplicate entries.

In vb the query appears to run, a duplicate entry error occurs, but no new non-duplicate records are added. How can I correct this to work as it does running the query from within Access? I don't want to use a find unmatched query and then an update query if I can do it without.
