Put this in another forum, but I think this one is more appropriate.

8/18 UPDATE: I got the wireless nic to work with the ap, but there is one problem. I have to disable WEP on my nic so that I can access the internet.

WEP is enabled on the AP, but if I enable it on my NIC, the laptop won't be able to access the internet.

I have a D-Link AP (DWL-900AP) that is connect to my router. I also have a Fujitsu S Series latop that I just got today (9/16). When I intially set up the AP, the wireless connectivity worked fine, as I was able to surf on the laptop.

Now, however, I am not able to grab an IP addy from the AP. The packets are SENT from the wireless NIC, but cannot receive. The AP is set up correctly (I don't have another wireless device to test though). I've ran through all the network setups, etc. I've installed some standard computer programs, but nothing that I would think that would cause a conflict with the network card.

The connection properties recognizes that the gateway exists (says that gateway is, which is the ip for the AP on the network)

I'm tearin my hair over this one cuz i've been working on it for a couple of hours.
