Active Directory

Hi,

I'll be implemeting a DHCP/WINS on a Win2K, just wondering will it be better in a Active Directory environment ? There will be multiple PDC on different subnet available.

Your comments will be appreciated.

Thanks

One advantage of using DNS in Active Directory is that the zone information is automatically transferred between the servers, requiring less setup on the second DNS server and every one from that point. Once you have DNS installed and configured on one domain controller, all you will have to do is install the DNS service on each new server.
Active directory is only for DHCP/WINS??? No that is not a good practice. But if you are migrating entire NT4.0 to W2K and keeping BDCs, I think better to go with AD mixed mode, DHCP, WINS and ADI DNS Zones.
