This is Sendmail newbie question... yes, I've tried RTFM but maybe I'm just too dumb..<br />

How can I add permissions for using Sendmail to other users than root? Is there a simple way only to change settings instead of start installing the whole sendmail from a scratch?<br />

While trying to send email with Evolution client log-files says:<br />

Aug 20 00:07:45 localhost sendmail[5124]: g7JN7ju05124: SYSERR(kimmo): Can't create transcript file ./xfg7JN7ju05124: Permission denied<br />
...<br />

Or could this be permission issue with certain folders?<br />

What I did try so far was e.g. adding my user name for TrustedUser in Sendmail.cf.. didn't help.. <br />
